They both went to University of California San Diego (UCSD), had overlapping classes, but never met. But when fate did bring them together, they had their first date at Destino. Ronnie figured Margaret was just a goody-goody pharmacy student and Margaret thought Ronnie was going to kidnap her; fortunately neither one gave up. After three years of dating, Ronnie bought a beautiful engagement ring while on a business trip and proposed to her the day he flew to San Diego to meet up with Margaret to celebrate their third anniversary. On a beautiful Saturday in front of close friends and family, Margaret and Ronnie exchanged their own hand-written vows at the beautiful Pulgas Water Temple in Woodside. The weather was just perfect, not too hot, which was fortunate as the day before was a scorcher. Despite vowing in the limo drive to Pulgas Water Temple, she wouldn’t cry, Margaret couldn’t help herself as she stared into Ronnie’s eyes saying her self-written vows which in turn lead to her bridesmaids getting teary eyed as well. As we scanned the crowd, there weren’t many dry eyes either and that’s what makes weddings so beautiful is how much they can affect you emotionally. After the ceremony and group photos, we made a short drive to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant located inside Vallco Mall in Cupertino for the wedding reception. If you’ve never been to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant, that place looks deceivingly small until you wander to the long hallway that has many small private dining rooms that leads into their grand ball room. The place is huge! It was a wonderful night of food, dancing, dining, and near the end, we showcased a slideshow that featured teaser images from earlier in the day (which Margaret couldn’t help but get a bit teary-eyed again) showing Margaret and Ronnie getting ready, details shots, wedding ceremony shots, and some of the formal shots. A beautiful day for a beautiful couple.
